Mindblowing! Extremely drinkable for 11,9% ABV! In aroma sweet tangerines, caramel, some mango, very pleasant, absolutely no alcohol. I think I moved some yeast from bottles bottom – beer is quite hazy. It has copper color, nice tan head leaving very nice lacing on the glass. For this ABV – head is long lasting. Taste is amazing: it’s dry! How they hided this alcohol? In first taste we’ve get a lot of carmelized tangerines. Next accent is caramel – light, not burned. In third taste bitterness is nicely countering caramel malt, but it’s not dominating. Aside from sweet tangerines in aroma, in taste we’ve got also so figs and hints of raisins. Alcohol is accented in back of throat. Beer is full and oily, but not too sweet. Carbonation is low, which, in this case, is great. Beer bottled on 28-01-2015. Amazing, almost session barleywine. Unusual, but brilliant!
